Salvadorans.org aims to make its guides usable by as many people as reasonably possible, regardless of the device, browser, or assistive technology they use.
Our Approach
When designing and maintaining the website, we try to use clear page structures, understandable headings, identifiable links, readable text, and navigation that works across different screen sizes.
We also aim to provide alternative text for informative images where appropriate and to structure tables and lists in ways that make their contents easier to understand.
An Ongoing Process
Accessibility is not a one-time task. Salvadorans.org contains pages published at different times and uses WordPress, themes, plugins, and third-party services that may also affect the user experience.
We use widely recognized web accessibility principles as a reference, but we do not claim that every page on the website currently conforms to a specific accessibility standard or compliance level.
External Content
Many of our guides link to government portals, appointment systems, PDF documents, and services that are not operated by Salvadorans.org. We cannot directly modify the accessibility of those external resources.
Reporting an Accessibility Problem
If you find something difficult to use with a keyboard, screen reader, text enlargement, or another assistive technology, contact us at support@salvadorans.org.
If possible, include the URL of the page, a brief description of the problem, the browser or device you were using, and what you were trying to accomplish. This information can help us locate and understand the issue.
Alternative Access
If a particular part of our content presents a technical barrier, let us know. Where reasonably possible, we will try to provide the essential information in a more accessible format or correct the way the page is presented.
